Meeting of the Model As…

Cleaning up in the garage yesterday, I found my long-forgotten 1957 Pontiac Service Manual. Inside was an original 8×10 Andy Southard Jr. print that I honestly have no idea where it came from. The image is of a stock ’30 or ’31 Model A Roadster and her gentleman owner paired up with a cool ’28 Model A hot rod and presumably the younger guy who built it. Father and son perhaps? By the looks of the low number California black plates, I would guess this shot was taken in 1963, and most likely for Rod & Custom, which Andy shot for frequently at the time.
