The Day Of The Drags – 2006

Damnit. I missed it. I can’t believe I missed it.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn’t get to attend the 2006 Day of the Drags event held by the Kontinental car club. Anyone that has ever been to this or any other event held by the Kontinentals know the travesty involved here. As I drove south on I-35 yesterday, my mood sunk deeper and deeper with each north bound hot rod… I knew they were going back home after one hell of a weekend that included some big time racing (coverage: 1, 2, 3, 4) and even a mini cracklefest.

Three years ago I promised myself I would never miss another Lonestar Round Up. Now, I’m making the same promise with the drags…
