The Fisk ’41

This morning, I had planned on posting a depressing outlook of our industry given social isolation. But, it was just too damned disheartening to carry through to the finish line. Maybe later.

But after I scrapped that article, my mind wondered back to our discussion on Monday and the WWI era trend of Dazzling ships. From that post came a number of different people posting images of hot rods that could have been inspired by the technique. The one that stood out to me the most was a 1941 Ford Pickup.

I’ve seen this truck plenty of times before and have always admired it, but it’s never gone any further… I’ve never done the research to learn more and I feel like today would be a good day to do just that. Only I’m gonna be lazy about it – rather than using my library or searching Google, I’m just gonna ask y’all.
