Kieth Tardel may indeed by Ryan’s brother, but the young Tardel and I go back quite a ways as well… Over 20 years, in fact. I used to co-host Billet Proof, and at our 1999 show, Keith brought the nicest little ’27 Roadster on Deuce rails I had ever laid eyes on. Guess what color it was? I’ve been digging the Rex Rod & Chassis Instagram page lately, and noticed a familiar theme- He still likes to spray them black. These are just my  lousy screen grabs below, but do yourself a favor and follow along with what they are building down in Austin: Clean, tasteful hot rods. And you can have them any color you like… As long as it’s black.
