Ute ought to want one…

Ryan’s ’41 Ford truck post got quite a few people pumped up about him buying a pre-war Ford shop truck. And why not? Old Pick Ups are good looking, reliable, and most of all, useable! Did you know there was a pre-war vehicle that had the usability of a truck and the comfort of a coupe? You could say it had ‘Utility’, or ‘Ute” for short. Yes, I know Ryan and I have both covered Ute’s a number of times over the years, but they are worth bringing back up ever so often. I just wish these Utility’s were manufactured in other markets besides Australia, because you never see them around these parts, either stock or customized, and they are pretty darn cool. I’d take a ’36 Ford Roadster version with low bed sides, myself (Model 302)…
