Hot Rodding around Berlin… Sort of.

I’m going to Berlin for the first time in September, and I always like to see if there is a local hot rod builder or motorcycle shop worth checking out when I’m in a foreign land; You never know what gems you might find. It turns out you can actually rent a miniature ’34 Ford Roadster style go-kart from ‘Hotrod City Tour Berlin’ and cruise it around town, following a guide for the day. At first glance you might think this sounds a bit… Perhaps cheesy? Definitely very touristy… But it sure looks fun, right? If you don’t take yourself too seriously, there are probably worse ways to get a tour around Berlin than cruising in a pack of (street-legal!) mini hot rods. The owners of the company have even taken these 13 horsepower beasts to local drag strip… And who says Germans have no sense of humor?
