Time Archive Photos – In Color!!!

So after yesterday’s post, I got an email from the photo editor of Time Magazine… and in that email were scans of the original color negatives used in the famous 1957 Time article. I feel like I’ve seen some of these in color before, but seeing them all together and at such a high resolution is pretty damned glorious.

Many of these were taken at Eagle Mt in Ft. Worth, Texas and it’s rare to have such beautifully documented examples of early Texas hot rodding. I’m pretty fired up over these. Check it out:
