Ford Economy Trucks For ’53

I’ve always loved trucks. There’s something about the utility aspect of even an old beater that deserves appreciation. Like hot rods, trucks are built with purpose and substance. All the nuances and features that are needed to meet the working requirements of an industrial vehicle create a form that just warms me inside. Ford, Chevy, hell… even Mopar…

In any case, I stumbled across this commercial for the ’53 Ford truck and just had to post it. It’s typical 1950’s advertising (BAD), but I love it all the same.
