A copper head gasket with some parts drawn in pencil and an original 1948 pinup that I drew the spark plug on.

It's been a busy few weeks as I had a solo show and a hot rod event in Australia. Had a great time and got to meet a ton of great people including some HAMB'ers. Also had a chance to do some live painting that's actually on topic! Here are some shots...and a smattering of new stuff...
Here is the panel that the owner of Downtown Kustoms made for me to paint on for the opening night VIP party. Amazing craftsmanship and one of the coolest things I've painted on... ![]() and a close up... ![]() Here are some tiki inkings I did for the show... ![]() ![]() ![]() ...and here is another new painting I just finished up.... 24x36" with gouache and 1shot ![]() ...and another 24x36" with gouache and 1shot

I was working on one of my Time Machines this week but it's not ready for the FAS...
But I'd be more than willing to show off someone else's artwork: My girlfriend Jodi had Hotrod Jen do a panel of my Boxer/Pit Chino for my Birthday! What a great surprise! I love it... The pic was taken outside so it's not that great but no pics do it justice... looks so much better in person. Thanks Jen! |

All three pics are from last Saturday's Dry Lakes Racing Hall of Fame "Gas Up" in Buellton, CA. It was the Gyronaut's first appearance in over 40 years. I tweaked the pics some. Nowhere near as good as the pro's on here, but it's a start. Great cars!

Well, isn't this a great start to another killer FAS!
Here's mine for now (I'll come back and comment later) This is another in the 'Dreamer" series and it needs a lot of tweaking when I go from sketch book to a more refined drawing. Many goofs like the step stool being askew and the car being too narrow, etc. shall be corrected and/or finished... "First Car-Big Dreams" ![]() Chad, the wheels piece is great, it would be a nice compliment to this one I did a while back:

Awesome work guys!
Came across a thread on here recently in which a dude found an old 54 vette bodied drag car. The car is a mess, but i couldn't help sketching up the possiblities of what it could look like put back together! (Sorry about the size )

That is fantastic - Back in the 80's I had a Classified, Pilots Flight Manual - It was used during flight testing of the Corsair - I donated it to the US Navy Museum.

I purchased one of Rob Schwager's "Rosie the riveter" prints and finally got my frame dressed up. I think it needs a line running next to the rivets. Just wanted to share and thank Rob, I bought it for my sister, but liked it so much I had to buy another for myself.

Amazing show! The vettes are great, and I loooove the way you've done the T, GaryC. Inspirational stuff everyone!
Some from me: Continuing this post, here are the drawings: ![]() had to realize how long can these actually be, i still couldnt fit it in page after three tries (also, the thinner black line is actually a lot cleaner, its just my scanner who didnt seem to agree)![]() slitghly offtopic, but, excuse me, i dont see old american cars daily (more like monthly, maybe even season-ly would fit the best), but i like how it turned out. ![]() ![]() the red marker suddently emptied, but well, I like the result ![]() ![]() tried to get the best out of the engine bay - a big and raw aluminum plate was in front of everything, street rods, eh

BTB Rocco that triple set would make some incredible speaker boxes, are you considering some industrial applications for your art?

I thought I'd find and post some Dave Bell art, He's been on my mind since hearing about his situation. He is great artist and very inspirational.
I should have scanned the poster he signed for us, but here is some of his art for those that do not know it. |

Could you please elaborate? We (Schithead Bros. Racing) met Dave years ago at the '85 Nostalgia Nats at Fremont Drag Strip. I've even been lucky enough to have been in a couple of Henry Hi-Rise cartoons over the years.

All: Inspirational. I don't know what to give a try to first: Airbrush, pencil, ink, acrylic, pinstripe, Photoshop? Friday's art makes for a nice weekend of giving some of these techniques a try. THANKS!

Paul I absolutely dig the detail and knowing that those cars are part of the WAAAM's collection makes it that much more special. I'm biased as well I'm sure as there is a huge amount of talent on here and I want to thank you for creating such a cool piece as well as turning me on the the FAS. I am not talented enough to post up here but it's cool to see there are incredible artists on here. Talk to you soon. |

Some Roth work I did on a couple barrels and my take on the last scene of American Graffiti and a Munsters panel all airbrush.
Most of All! Prayers for Dave Bell at this sad time. An inspiration for me Dave, you are a great guy and artist.
