Hot Rods Hot Rod wreck

I just saw a post on facebook that Keith Weesner's roadster was hit. Aaron K. was driving and was thrown 65 feet, but only has minor injuries.

 

Thank God!!!

 

Was just reading that.....good to hear that there was no major injuries....picture looks pretty bad though.

What the fuck!!! Damn I'll be praying for Aaron and I am really sorry that happened. Weez's roadster was rad but that can be replaced. We can't replace Aaron.

 

I think another HAMBers Model A was hit here in FW recently as I was sent a cell pic of the car, and recognized it. I know whose car it is but never saw a posting on it so I let it be.


Hope the guy in this accident is ok. Looks awful.

 

Two cracked rips and some bruising is still serious stuff. Hope he's back to feeling 100% soon.

 

thats crazy what happened? it could have been worse. hope he gets better soon.

As always the main thing is that the occupants survived pretty much intact - thank God. While I am really sorry to see this has happened, everything else - no matter how bad it is - is secondary.

he was wearing seat belts! the weld on the eyelets broke open so the belts let go......

 

Ouch, glad to hear that he is in as good a shape as he is after being launched like that.

Not much good to have seat belts if they become unanchored in a collision. Would like to see what the belt installation looked like.

You get hit broadside in a roadster youre gonna get hurt seatbelt or no seatbelt!

 

Thank God only minor injuries were sustained! Being ejected from a vehicle is never a good thing!

 

Exactly,you drive past a big crew cab pickup in a little roadster like this and you will see it is a little uncomfortable to say the least. I almost feel safer on a motorcycle,almost.

 

Glad to hear Aaron will be alright.

Any more comments about seat belts will be deleted. A dude was hurt, another dude's car was jacked up.

Let's focus on those things and leave the keyboard wars for another thread...
