I don't know about any of you but I love me a vintage 4bbl on old engines. I am not sure I would run one on a flathead but there is something too cool about a rochester or Caddy WCFB on top of an Olds or Cadillac (i.e. Lightening bug style). I can't imagine most flatheads not running a bit rich with a 4bbl on there....hell my Merc used to run rich with a Holly 94!

I was just at an old mans shop and he had a full Zephyr engine on the stands with finned heads and all and I believe that he had on of those intakes on there. He has all types of rare shit so I wouldn't be surprised if it was that exact one.

cool stuff, keep it coming. i was wondering what $45.00 dollars of 1952 money would be today? how long would i have had to save lawn mowing money to buy an edlebrock 4 barrel manifold?

I tend to think the same thing when I'm going through my old catalogs.

Looking at the heads. If that was 1952, how early are the block letter versions?
