That was a serious blast ! Had the hood of my roadster blow off going 60 MPH on highway 17. Blew a hole in the radiatior hose and overheated like a mofo, and then found out whent he hood flew off it severed the generator wires. Then the Heat. ohh man the Heat. But Going to Verns shop was like heading to Mecca (thanks so much for letting us stop buy and to use your shop to replace the radiator hose). So worth the trip. We blew down the coast, home to beat some of the heat and it was a glorious drive into the sunset and home to Santa Cruz. I got a pile o pictures. here they are http://picasaweb.google.com/legendar...odRevolution09#
Lars, Great pictures and thanks for taking a couple of my lakes roadster. Really great time at the Hot Rod Revolution with great people. Great time. Rex
A total fuckin' gas... Best quality cars I've seen at any gathering of it's size anywhere. Breakfast was good too.. Thank you Ryan and Keith.
Looks like the core H.A.M.B. subject matter! Nice pics, true traditional hot rods and plenty of them. Thanks for sharing.
I notice photo #38 is George Cambell's old Salt Circus roadster. Kind of looks like it has a Wayne decal on it. I sold George my Howard head GMC many years ago an he ran that motor while he was alive that I know of. Do you know what the story now?
Lars, Great pics. Thanks for making the effort to post them. I didn't see a car I wouldn't be proud to drive. Ryan and the Tardells should be proud of themselves! Ted
It was a good day. Met some nice people, saw some great cars, found a little lost Pug in the park and did some detective work and was able to return her back to her owner..
