I really enjoyed talking with you in Piegon Forge and meeting David,,I see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree,,good people The car is a knock out,,and I like the interior borrowed from a customers deuce. HRP
Thanks guys for all the compliments. Yea, that tag and tag topper is real. Dad found that topper in an old service station in town a few years back. Compare the tag on the 32 and the tag on my A.(hint look at the number and the date) HRP Nice meeting you at Shade's your truck is a killer! Check out the customers car that we borrowed the interior from on our web site. It's a good car. Here is some more pics....
Very nice!!! ... and the "faux patina" turned out great ... it almost looks real! In all seriousness, that is one Bitchin' Hot Rod! ... I would have never thought that I would like a Un-chopped Tudor Hiboy ... but this I like! You Kennedy's done good! Hope your dad decides to leave it sans fenders & running boards!
Very cool. I remember when you "discovered" this one and was curious how you would handle the aging that it had been subjected to. Congrtats, you done good. Frank
For those who haven't followed this story.... About 10-12 years ago this car was bought out of 35 years' storage by a local gentleman who had plans to build it. Shortly after he got it, he suffered a tragic accident while on a mission trip. He has been in a coma since. The family had kept the car hoping he would someday be able to complete it. Most of them gave up but his wife held on to hope until last fall when I got a call last fall asking if I would be interested in the car. Selling this car was tough for her. I couldn't buy it, but David could. After 45+ years, it is good to see the car on the road. This car is loaded with character. To undo it would have been wrong. A happy ending to what has, up to this point, has been a sad story. JH
That is beyond words. WOW is all I can say. I just can't describe it. It's BAD ASS!!! Yeah motor shots would be killer as well Will
This is the kind of car that made me like old cars in the first place. I'd run some mags on it, but that's me, I like the 16's plenty too. Look at a car like that, and you don't think about politics, religion, state of the economy, all the mind numbing stuff goes away.
I traveled out to the LA Roadster show a couple of years ago. Jamie, one of the guys in our caravan drove this sedan that looks very similar. Both the Kennedy's and Jamie's look great.
