Can anyone provide any information on this car? Looking for a driver's name, the class it ran in, where and when the car was "AHRA World Champion" ? Photo taken in 1967 at Texas, Six Flags Dragway. Thats all I got...

My feelings exactly Storm King ... said it many times myself. These days the N/SS cars at a small track, at night come close to how it used to be. The York Reunion Musclecar Madness show and drag meet at Beaver Springs, PA come close.

This was not a Alum car , Was owned by Jim Stevens . Was a Eng for the Crab plant in bay city . Later the car was owened by Art Noey . And then Dave Schultz

Great pictures Fam4Willys! Thank you for sharing. Top notch, rare color pictures ... I think the first that I've seen of these cars in color. Would love to see anything that you have on the early S/S-F/X stuff. The Garlits S/SA cars were mostly driver by Jim Kalor, only on occasion by Big Daddy himself.
