Glad you enjoyed the pics! I don't agree on your assessment that the Hill Bros. got the better of K.S....but then again, we don't see eye to eye on a lot of stuff...lol As far as my Dad, you can read all about him on Nitrogeezers..they have a nice page dedicated to him....and for the record, my Dad wasn't a touring Pro, he raced/built cars as a hobby, but it was neat to see him race the touring pros when they came to Atco.

Thanks for the kind remarks! Yes, I was lucky to have a Dad that built and raced cars.....but even better than that he allowed my snot nosed ass to tag along with him where ever he went. Sure did make a big impression on me. Every car I build, I do so in memory/honor of him.

WOW, that is a cool collection of articles....! I use to love getting Drag News when I was a kid. It was pretty heady stuff to read about my dad racing back then. The one article of my Dad racing K.S. in 67 is new to me! Thanks again for posting!

  5. I stumbled onto this all doors parked on the back row of a used car lot while driving to Cape Cod on our honeymoon in July 1964. All original with a recient paint job. Bought it, had a tow bar and hitch built, and flat towed it back to Maryland. This photo was taken in Stone Harbor, NJ, where we stopped to let my inlaws see what a crazy guy their daughter just married!

Does anyone have pics of the interior of Ohio Georges 33? I would LOVE to see one in color.

I know it's not a '33-'36 but, you had to hear "10 GRAND" Tommy Schinolser shift his four speed!!!

I know the '33 is Cam Cogsdill and I think the '40 Chevy might be Joe Amato.

Maybe a little off topic or "non-HAMB", but I've always liked Joe Hrudka's Buttera built coupe, it looked like it was whittled from aluminum!!!

I took that shot at the Nats in St.Paul Mn. in '89. The fit, finish & detail on the car that Lil built was over the top for it's time.
I've read in a past issue of SRB that Pinkee's did a complete re make on this car. It was a gold color and the doors were made into suicide.
I sure hope not it was classic Buttera!

WillysRule, while on the RJ subject is there any more pictures out there of the red 33 that Art Chrisman built? I've only seen it in the RJ, never in any ones show or event coverage. That is a great car.
