I stumbled across this old post on concept art and had a blast looking at all of the ideas and...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Here's one I did for Cody when he was looking at paint options for the '57.. not too radical I'm also working on Brandon's Rambler, hoping to have it done soon.
that has always been one of my top ten HAMB threads, and find myself looking back at it on occasion. thanks for bringing it back up, Ryan.
Anyone know who the guy that does all the Kanter concepts is? Some of the drawings he does are great, I'd love to see a book or collection of all of those...
That drawing reminds me of the Tether cars my Brother-in-law races and collects. It would be cool to see on life size.
I remember the 1 Wrench Wench rendering! I was floored when I saw those drawings for the first time. Didn't the same artist do a crazy fricking wagon/ push vehicle with the most amazing scallop design on the top & hood?? I think that I have that picture at home, I'll try and dig it up. - Joe EDIT: I found it... but I think that it's a different artist.
I've done alot over the years, but the one I'm most proud of is the one for our Bonneville project we are building... (Tshirts available starting this friday!) One I did about 10 years ago for the Boyd/Hot Rod Magazine contest. I placed in the top 6.
You guys amaze me. Awesome stuff. I cannot wait to see the "Hill & Tully Special". When will we get to see some build pics? Where has Conder been anyway? I enjoyed reading his posts. It seems that sometime during the Heaven & Hell dragster builds he faded away from the HAMB and I now that project came to a halt.
There are a few pics on our site. Click on HRCC below. Haven't worked on it much lately as customer work comes first.
I have no hope, you guys are art Gods. Ford '32 B400 style roof on a '39 Chev four door. Body has been channelled, sectioned, chopped & shortened. & finally something futuristic
Check this link out... http://www.cardesignnews.com/site/designers/portfolios/ The whole site is cool but the portfolio section is SWEET!
Thanks for reviving the old concept art thread..... Here is one from my old collection. A Starliner chopped, dropped, pie-cut and floating. One of these days I will learn to do artwork that is small enough to fit on a scanner. For now diagonal is the only way... Keep them coming....
Django, I remember that contest. Were you at the finals? We might have met. I did the 49 ford retractable and the Cuda concepts. Chopt 34
Some great work guys! I'll give it a go trying to post some pictures for the first time. Some old sketches & renderings I've done in the past... (p.s. the phone numbers & web address listed in the images are not valid anymore)
