This just in... Due to the chance of rain, the fellas are moving the venue from the park to the Travis County Expo Center at 7311 Decker Lane. You can read more about the Expo center here. A...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Well, parking sure as hell won't be an issue out there...........plenty of room for 'smokey-burnouts'.......
That should still be a pretty cool place. Lots of room for sure. Soo is this for sure or is it if it rains?
Lots of room, but no shade. I personally hate that place, but I like old cars more than I hate that place.
True story... the first fist fight I was ever in. I was 10 or 11 years old at the time. This little punk, Ross Sport, hit me over the head with his fucking light saber toy. I turned around, balled my fist, closed my eyes, and swung as hard as I could. I mean, all 85lbs of my little ass was behind that fist. I missed. And as my body was falling forward, my feet came out from under me... And like it was an act of some god (that apparently hates star wars as much as I do), my foot hit little ole Ross right where the sun don't shine. He fell down with a lack of breath and never messed with me again. I don't need mind tricks when I got the god that hates star wars on my side.
Since this venue is going to be outside as well I guess I can't bust your Texan's balls about being afraid of alittle rain.... SO...I guess it has to do with the possibility of mudd ......you guys afraid of alittle mudd?? Alittle mudd at our shows here in the midwest is pretty normal. I guess I'll unpack my sandles and throw in my boots.
What?.....fuck that, I'm not going now. Does this mean all you Kontinentals are gonna be up late with sharpies changing the maps? I have absolutely zero sense of direction. I'm impressed with the "on the fly" venue change. Can't wait!!
I'm gonna make brand new maps tonight for everyone, yes - its not hard or far to get to. Even for those who are "directionally challenged" Denise - thats EXACTLY why we aren't doing it at the park - that place would turn into a mud pit with all the car and foot traffic. Can't risk it - and you wouldn't be happy either... It will be outside and the weather looks great for Saturday.
Fidge, its easy man....35 south, exit 290 east, right on Decker lane, Expo on the left hand side... I just got done moving 10 ATM's from the Expo that we had there for the rodeo...I guess its time to move a couple back!!!
I might not get stuck, but that would mean me gettin muddy hookin up chains and pullin out others. I'm still lookin forward to goin and I know my wife can't wait for it to be over.
That's where the ROT Run is isn't it? And that's pretty big. Hope we've got all paved roads Friday - Oh oh, that's right, I'm riding in a roadster! Yipees! Like being home in New England. Leaving on the big plane in 7 hrs - see y'all there!
The Roundup website is updated with links to the new venue, info and revised map page check it at http://www.lonestarroundup.com/
I just saw on the news that they said it was "inside". Is that possible? Or are they talking out of their asses?
