I just purchased a 1928 Chevy sedan and I am in need of parts but I am having trouble finding good web sites that sell everything for these types of cars please help me. I know vintage ford sell items but that is only for model a'
I helped a friend build a 29 sedan almost 30 years ago,I know now why he was able to get such a good deal on the car. The wood kit cost twice what he paid for the car. HRP
Say it so man. The car has no wood floor at all. But I will have to find metal pans to put in instead. It has everything including the dash and half of the sterring wheel lol. I really wnated a Ford Model A but found this one near by and picked up for 1k so the price was not bad.
All the above suggestions for parts sources are great. I've used them all at one time or another for my 28 coupe. Just remember...it's a 4 cylinder Chevy...not a Model A. Be patient when looking for parts.
Put a list together and throw a post in the "termites and bowties" thread- there are a few of us early Chevy guys that might be able to help!
I will sir. The weather in Houston is crappy right now so I cant take any. I have on my phone but don't know how to load them up from there.
Yeah I know. These are more rare I guess not too many where made. Plus the other reason I wanted to get was because I want to have a Chevy collection.
Sold the car before I even did anything. I was offloading it and they offered some good cash and it was gone.
