Editor's Note: This is the second installment of our partnership with Piero and the Mad Fabricator's Society and with it comes some more very special footage. I'll let Piero tell the story: I met Scot Hamilton last year and we hit it off.....

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Oh my god, I need to purchase this film. And when I say need, I mean NEED. Like deep within the belly of my soul type needing. Awesome heads up guys. Looks like I'm going to be $63.00 lighter by the end of the day. Oh, and the intro to that site makes me want to get Fuckin' nuts.
Some of that footage reminded me of the HAMB Drags. Loved it.... but one thing, IMHO, the music/soundtrack playing while Isky was talking was alittle loud and distracting.
Dreams of Legends is a truly incredible film project, I got it for Christmas, and its worth EVERY penny
I thought it was fine, brings back a lot of memories of the sixties. I love the old Fiat gassers. I think I'll pull the trigger on this deal and order it. I'll spend $63 bucks on lunch this week.
A big thanks to all the people who have invested their time to save and present these images and interviews! And thanks to Ryan for giving us a peek.
I've got the Hot Rod Potpouri 1&2. Don had some excellent footage. The music is cool but I sort of miss his commentary on who and what we are looking at. Regardless, this is gonna have to find it's way into my collection!
Wow....thanks a TON Ryan and Piero for doing this. I produced the films with Scot and he poured his LIFE into this project and lost alot of steam by the end. This will surely mean alot to him. Thank you again!!
Great post. I'm glad some one had the fore sight to preserve this bit of Hot Rod History. Did anyone recognize the reference to Jon Favreau? He was one of the creative people behind the "Elf" movie with Will Ferrell. Jon did a cameo as the Doctor when Buddy the Elf kept eating the cotton balls. Favreau has lots of pull in Hollywood. Maybe he could get could get these documentaries released in the theaters...That would be great viewing for the up-coming Hot Rod Cinematic!
ISKY is THE MAN,No two ways about it.Looks like a great DVD I think i'll purchase a copy. That in car footage was amazing!
If they can project DVD, Piero or I can talk to Scott about screening it at the Cinematic. I think Scot would be all for it. Favreau is a great guy and wanted to help but he was starting pre production on Iron Man when we needed him, so he had to decline
