Ironically, when American Grafitti came out, I was living in Japan (AF Brat), thats where i saw it for the first time, only cost a quarter! Lived there 5 years, the work ethic and respect these people have is what makes there attention to detail possible, as for the bikes they produce they are SPOT ON in my book.

This thread is amazing. Really, amazing!!!

I never ever thought they'd have this going on in Japan!!!! I live just across the water in the Philippines, where the USA military had several massive bases for years, but there is none of this thing going on there. A few hundred muscle cars maybe, some drag racing, but nothing in the hot rod scene.

And damn, them Asian girls are gorgeous!!!!! :D

I am curious about this as well. If I recall correctly, their regs on older cars are aimed at getting them off of the road. Are they different for "classic" and imported cars?

    Very cool rides, btw.

Kind of weird, my dad and brother are into the 60s Datsun roadsters, and these guys have nailed the whole American scene. I know guys that when they come over from Japan they want to see the classic Datsuns that are in the garage. Next time I go to Nagoya I want to see what these guys have.

My god.. The craftsmanship on that car is out of this world!
Every inch of that car flows seamlessly into the next, and it was clearly, lovingly, handcrafted with the utmost respect for the look and feel of the Kustom scene.

  20. Nice pics. I'll get back to Japan again one of these years, I am half and my family all lives in Kanazawa.

I want to go! Anyone want to sponser a broke guy with a dream? You pay for my ticket, freight for my ride, and some spending money and I'll send you cool car pictures and stories about their beer and women!
Man, I love me some little retro Japanese girls! :)

I have looked at the whole site and they are kick ass cars, I have been to car shows for most of my life and have never seen where they lined up end to end when showing. Also not many people shown in the picture??? Also the white plates, seem's to show year of car but then other thing on them

Cool Rides! I don't think i've ever seen a convertable/roadster/whatever with a visor, it's a different kind of look. Also, does everyone there with a car from the late 30's to mid 50's have a visor? Maybe it's a rule or something. Either way, I like the look with the visors, so it's cool with me. This thread has made me feel like a bit of a loser for not having more cool shit on my car though.

    Man, what a deal! lol

Gotta be careful of those Japanese girls. My wife is half Japanese and I swear she has Samurai blood in her when I make her mad! Good thing I can outrun her! :D

Keep 'em coming Toshi! I'm digging the hell out of this thread!
