I love my Buick, the Ford, I have mixed feelings. I bought a '76 Nova when I was 15, and it was my first project. Nothing Fancy, pretty much brought back to stock, but changed the colors of the car so I would actually be happy with it. I drove this car for 10 years as my daily, and the love and fascination began. The Buick, I purchased from the original Owner for $400. I was sinking into a hole on the side of the house for over 30 years in New Jersey, so I rescued it and brought it back to Maryland. It has the original 248 straight 8, and the 3 on the tree. I love this car. It's an ongoing project which will never end, but that's the way I like it. Recently purchased a basket case '64 F-100, and am quickly learning how different Ford and GM were. I think I like the GM approach better, but the Ford will be a solid dependable vehicle when I'm done with it. That's just what us GM mechanics strive for. Haha!
