My dad was an engineer who worked for Chrysler International & was a Plymouth man, I remember having rides in a Chrysler turbine car, he was always driving really cool company cars one of my favourites was a 67 Fury with dual quads.
I like Traditional Kustoms & Hot Rods, Flatheads I am Dutch but have lived in Surrey, England for a long time.
I have owned my Shoebox Coupe since 1985, I bought
it from an ex stock car racer called Pete Tucker a UK dealer who imported it from Virginia as a non runner and have slowly been chipping away at it. In 2011 finally tackled all the rust & bare metal respray (took off 17 layers of paint!) in 2 pack on my drive & one car garage by good pal Colin Jeffries who did a great job it still looks today.
The 8BA runs 12 Volt GM alternator, Mallory Dual Point with Pertronix, Stromberg 97 with later choke cable bracket delivered & fitted by legend Eddie Wimble of Stromberg carbs himself ,Red’s headers & Dual Cherry Bombs which sound great. Have dropped it with Aerostar springs in the front and 2" lowering blocks at the back, future plans perhaps will install Powergen alternator, offy heads and dual intake.
