28 ford tudor sedan
54 ford f100 pickup
41 Pontiac coupe
53 Stude coupe - to be built
Just an old guy who drove jalopies in the 50's out of necessity ($$$) who has passed on the car fever to his son, and now needs to help him build a hot rod.
P.S. I'm not a died in the wool hot rod guy. I love Jags (we have a sedan and a convert), I've restored muscle cars, vintage jag's, MGB's, and Triumphs. IMO almost anything built before 1969 is worth saving. Anything before 41 is a national treasure. I love Hot Rods cause you get to personalize and improvise. (Restoration has gone nuts with the numbers matching - the overspray pattern has to match the factory FU - that model can't have positraction - kind of BS. I hope Hot Rodding doesn't go the same route , has to be a 32 - air bagged - slammed - steelies only - patina - whatever BS.
Find a car you like, fix it the way you want, enjoy it. period.)
Cars I've loved - 52 ford convert, 59 Impala hardtop, 60 XK150, 67 E type, 68 firebird, 69 Vette, 65 Sunbeam, 3 MGB's, Fiat Spider, Pontiac Grand Am, BMW 528, and every thin I have now. Favorite driver, Hemi Magnum, favorite bike - 65 BSA 650 Lightening Rocket. Cars I lust after, late 30's Cord - Jag XK120 - A fat fendered streetrod, built to my specifications, with an unlimited budget.Interact
