My dad would take me to car shows when I was young. When I was 14 I stated with my grandfathers '66 C-10 chevy, it was far gone, we live in the rust belt. Sold it and bought a '67 Mustang in '85, right before my 16th birthday.
Then it was a '50 chevy Deluxe my senior year. Next came my first marriage in '92, (a mightmare, but no kids) and a '63 buick Wildcat, 4 dr. hardtop. 445 wildcat motor, 110 % power steering so you couldn't feel the road, I think it had a life boat in the trunk but I hardly ever walked all the way back there...
Then a divorse and a'69 Mach I with a 351 cleveland , 4 speed and a rear ratio so low it would jerk your teeth out and was always over reving if you drove it father than 1/4 mile at a time. It was the strongest runner I ever had but never had the funds to fix it up, so sold it to a friend.
Then a year later came a good wife, a small house and a '51 Ford custom, 2 dr. sed. with stock flathead. It was the sweetest sounding thing. Three years ago bought a nicer place to live and a '40 pontiac, which I took all the way down and off the frame, built a little Olds V-8, etc, then two years ago had a little girl, (productivity slowed way down)she's even cooler then the cars.
Year and a half ago came across '59 D-100, you know an easy fixer...I crack me up... Then we had to close the family business, after 21 years, the first week of June '09 because you can't sell garage doors if no one is building, replacing, or even fixing for that matter. So I sold the '51 ford to make the house payment for a couple of months and feed the small girl. God put me in a good job about a month ago and that brings us to tonight.
    Thanks for listening,
    Todd
