I have been involved with old cars all of my life, literally. My dad was a car nut since he was a kid. We always had automobiles to work on, mostly orphan cars like Nash, Packard, and Studebaker. The cars kept me out of trouble while growing up in the SFV. I like all types of cars.
My background with cars include a stint at customizing Cadillacs in the mid '70s with Gene Winfield in Chatsworth, CA , the restoration of antique and classic cars with The Nethercutt Collection in the early '80s and restoring and selling MB 300 SLs at Scott Restorations in the late '80s to early '90s. I have been running my own small restoration and collector car sales company since 1993. I am very busy working on European Sports Cars and early Hot Rods & Customs, including my own cars. Over the years, I have restored and shown many cars at Pebble Beach including 3 of my own restorations and the last two years I have judged at Pebble Beach, most recently the Customized Car class with Ken Gross, Larry Erickson, and Don Montgomery.
