My Dad has always been into cars. Mostly British sports cars. So as the story goes, he walked into the house one night shortly before I was born and told my Mom that he had measured some cars. He determined that if they were to trade in the late 50's Porshe cabrolet for a coupe, they could fit both me and my older brother in the car.
In High School I drove all sorts of cars. A righthand drive Morris Mini, Trimpuh TR4A, Lotus super seven, and a couple of Morgans. But when I finally bought my first car, I turned the corner to American Beauties. It was a 1961 Olds Dynamic 88. Next was a '59 F100 and since then I've pretty much had just an old Ford truck, except for the '40 Chevy that mostly sat in my yard/ garage before I passed it onto a friend recently.
