Got this in an email today.. Being (72) years old I really can relate to it, so wanted to pass on.. Enjoy...
= sorry, cut off year here is 65 - Ha! can someone please make it so people do not need to go through pdf to view this?
Ha Ha on the cut off year...good one. I tried every way I could to not use PDF...but my computer (or my knowledge) would not let me... Sorry...
I couldn't find any way to save images to my computer either, but then I'm almost as old as you are. LOL Oh yeah, thanks for the link.
Mel's my big sister used to load me on the bus and take me to Mel's for a chocolate Coke when I was little. The cars and the coke were both a real treat for the skinny kid. Thanks for the memories old friend.

Hey all I searched high and low for a better pic of this scalloped mild custom... Didn't find one. Anyone have a better pic or know of the car and the show would be complete?
And the Deuce Factory Coupe is a modern shot and one of my fav B-ville coupes and is running again with new 'foreign" owners. I give the shot a pass....
I like when we get caught posting something thinking its vintage but turns out not to be. It just tells me that we've caught the period inspired thing well. It's all good.
That's a solid collection. Some great shots, loved the one of the guys in the '34 roadster, and the '34 sedan in the background. In Santa Clara, CA.. 1955 there was a group of young guys (16-19 yrs) that formed a club, all '33s and '34s. D. Abreu, '34 fordor, 59AB; D. Bertacini, '34 fordor, Olds mill; Mendoza bros, '34 Three window and '34 five window; E. Dias, '34 Five window; T. DeMello, '33 Tudor. Looked like a whole car show when these guys would pull into Mab's Drive In, they'd park out in the middle, cars in a circle, front ends to the center... Heaven to be surrounded by all those Model 40 grilles! I was 13, so it was a BIG DEAL...
