You’ve probably seen the image before as I’m not shy about showing it off. It’s an old shot from the early 40’s of my grandfather’s shop. The photograph is one of my most prized possessions and I’ve always wanted a reproduction of the shop sign.

Enter one of the H.A.M.B.’s longest standing sign painters and letterist – SafariKnut. After years of seeing his art on the H.A.M.B. and after all of the support he has given us through the years, I decided it was time to give back and ordered up some custom work. A few short weeks later and the sign above showed up on my door step.

In case you are wondering, yes… His work is every bit as perfect in person as it appears on your screen. I couldn’t be happier.
