The State of the H.A.M.B.

X-Sonic Corvette

I woke up this morning fully prepared to search out a recent post of interest on the H.A.M.B. and write it up. It’s extremely rare for me to have to hunt long – it just seems like the H.A.M.B. always has something of at least vague interest to me. Something that I could easily write a paragraph or two about. This morning was different.

There are easily ten active posts on the H.A.M.B. right now that are more than good reading. They are phenomenal.

While driving to work this morning, I debated which of these posts I would feature. And then it hit me like a bag of rocks… It hit me like it always seems to do about this time of year. You guys have built something amazing. A community of relatively like minds that strive not only to build and record cool shit, but to share it with others openly and personally.

I’ve always believed in this joint. There were times in the past where I didn’t take it as seriously as other times, but I’ve never felt that there was anything this community couldn’t achieve. I knew we would grow and knew there would be growing pains, but I never knew we would grow (and continue to grow) so gracefully. These are good times fellas…

And just to prove a point to myself, here are five amazing posts from this week picked randomly out of an old mesh skate hat:

49ratfink covers Bakersfield
The X-Sonic Vette
The Rolling Bones Reliabilty Run
Bobby Green’s Bellytank
Roadster Pickup Body From Scratch
