1950s Drag Strip film in Color

I’m pretty darn sure this clip has been posted on the HAMB at some point, but it worth the risk posting it again if I’m wrong. After all, this is some excellent color footage of hot rods shot at a drag strip around 1955 (presumably by a member of the Road Knights). The exact location isn’t clear, but judging by the wide and flat expanse with no buildings in sight, it looks to be a military airstrip of some kind. The cars are mainly street roadsters, early rail jobs and a few coupes, including a sweet channeled and chopped Deuce 5W running whitewall and full wheel covers for it’s run. The entire event is so casual that it’s likely this was an unorganized club gathering, rather than a formal NHRA-type drag race.
