The Secret Power of the HAMB…

Its not the beautiful car pictures, the deals on old junk, or even the intriguing tech articles. No, the real power of the HAMB is no big secret at all- Its the people here. The guys you just met online who come to your house to help lift a coupe body, loan you their welder or engine hoist, meet in a dark parking lot to be a parts courier for you, send you a PM on your birthday or when you need personal advice. All that stuff. Your friends on the HAMB are the best largely because they totally get what you love and they love it too; willing to help anyone in need out, even if they don’t even have a car of their own yet. We’ve lost some really good brothers from here lately, some very loyal car buds that would give me a hand on any project at any time, with no questions asked. This is not a downer post to sadden anyone, rather it’s a reminder that we have an amazing gift with this Hokey Ass Message Board that has helped create so many lasting and powerful friendships. You can’t say the same for any of your lousy car magazine subscriptions, can you?
