The HAMB Drags 2003… Were you there?

Ryan’s crushing post about loosing his dad was summed up with an image of them racing at the Mo-Kan drag strip from that hot and humid day in in Asbury almost exactly 11 years ago- Hard to believe it’s been that long! Highlights of the day for me were the ‘Bomb Factory vs. Gordini Garage’ Digger runs, the Continental Club’s presence, amazing BBQ food, and of course the and friendships made. The HAMB was still pretty much in it’s junior years then, and the Drags were our first real national gathering that I know of. It felt exciting and special to be there, and despite the crazy logistics and organizing involved that day, Ryan, Marcie and a handful of their friends made it all work out fine. I took a good number of pictures that day and figured it was worth posting many of them as a look back to simpler and smaller times of our Board.
