To a ‘T’

To a ‘T’

‘T’ Buckets puzzle me.

They make me think back to a saying that can be applied to almost anything —

It’s simple to make something difficult, but it’s difficult to make something simple.

Keeping that in mind, I present you with Lee Everett’s ’23 ‘T.’

Constructed in a mere three months and 22 days, the candy red machine looks as if every move were planned a far in advance and executed in a clinical manner.

Although the centerpiece of the ‘T’ is the blown ’60 Olds motor, it’s the chassis that makes Everett’s bucket stand out.

If I’m not mistaken, I recall reading that the completely chromed ladder frame doubled as a gas tank for the thirsty mill. Trick then, trick now.

Also Notice:

Mags. Piecrusts. Wires.

Buttons. Footprints. Olds tiller.

Quads up front. Quads up top.

Candy. Chrome. Continuous stripe.

A taste of simplicity — 1964 style.

Lap up the Ecktachrome

and let Steve R. Scott’s photos say the rest.
