Mad Fabricators Volume 7

Mad Fabricators Volume 7

Apparently, I say the word “shit” a lot when I’m nervous. And I was pretty damned nervous when Piero and his crew came out to my office to shoot the segment on me, my car, and the H.A.M.B. for his latest addition to the Mad Fabricators library. I looked into his camera lens and saw all of you staring back at me and suddenly felt the weight of your judgement. None of you were naked.

But I got through it and I guess it’s not that bad.

Thankfully for Piero, Volume 7 holds a number of other features with much more merit. In fact, this edition of the series features more personal stories than those from the past and I really like that. My favorite was the story of Jason Ellis and his “Question Mark Coupe.” I’ve seen the car around quite a bit and have always loved it’s personality, but Piero’s feature really highlighted the thoughts behind the build and the history of the name. Here’s the clip:

The rest of Piero’s DVD goes along with the same tone and pace. There’s just a lot of stories filled with a lot of passion.  As soon as I finished watching it in its entirety, I sent Piero a text and told him it was his best video yet. That was a few weeks ago and I still hold the same sentiment – Volume 7 is really damned good and should not be missed. You can pick up a copy here.

And while you are there, check out “Mad Fabricators Invades Australia.” It’s another great documentary that features many of the Australians we all know and love…
