Circa 1953

A few months ago, I got an email from a fella working for Levi’s asking about some vintage hot rod footage I had featured a number of years ago. He claimed there was a small inner-gang within Levi’s that called themselves the “Levi’s Vintage Clothing” group and, apparently, these folks had a real appreciation for not only the Levi’s archive of vintage clothing, but hot rods as well. “Real Americana type shit,” he said.

I sent the footage figuring it would never see the light of day and, if it did, it would be in some far too polished commercial of some sort. I think they proved me wrong… This turned out pretty cool:
