H.A.M.B. Drags – TEN

I can hardly believe it. What started as a severely disorganized drag race ten years ago is now a severely disorganized drag race that happens to be the best in the world. Of course, I’m biased… But hey man, if the shoe fits you best put the damned thing on and roll with it.

Anyway, pre-registration for the 10th annual H.A.M.B. Drag Nationals is now officially open. You can get to it here. A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. This is a pre-register ONLY event. Meaning, if you aren’t pre-registered, you aren’t racing.

2. This is a traditional drag race. To complete pre-registration, you must submit images of your car. Modern stuff with all the latest and greatest will be weeded out savagely and without nagging guilt.

You fellas know the drill. You’ve been doing it for ten years right along with me. The date is August 18th, 2012 and all the details can be found on the official site. So, what are you waiting for?

Note: As always, we limit the field to the best 180 or so cars. If you think you might be headed to Joplin on the 18th, play it safe – REGISTER ASAP.
