Silva Speed Special

A few weeks ago, I cruised down the street (literally) to Kevin’s place to check out his latest. He had been working to get his model-a sedan road worthy for some time and while the generator wasn’t charging, the car was running and we couldn’t help but take our hot rods out for a quick spin. As luck would have it, we ran out of juice in a perfect spot for a mini photo shoot.

As you can see, the little sedan is still in mock-up form waiting for the mild chop and washington blue paint that are sure to come. Still, this one is far enough along to know something special is brewing… Very rarely do you see model-a sedans sitting on top of stock rails look so proportionate. The headers are placed just right, the rear tire fits perfectly in the rear wheel well… Everything just has its place.

I’m sure you will be seeing much more of this car as it progresses.
