I love early hot rods the most. But then I see something like that '55 and realize that I like customs just as much, it just takes a perfect one to make me take notice. Great stuff, Mark.
You have a fine collection and that 55 is a real beauty. What kind of motor is on the trike? I thought the motocycle jones was out of my system, but man, that trike is cool!!!
The Zinger looks cool, but that trike is just boss man. It looks just like a Cox trike I had as a kid. Doc.
The trendero rocks, love that car even though it didnt run. When you redo it you gonna make it run? The Ziger is awesome. Seen some old picks of when you first started the Mysterion replica, do you regreat ever not finishing that one? That guy did awesome job at it. Did it ever run when Roth had it? You got some real cool toys
The Mysterion clone never ran, some say the real one did but i find that hard to believe. A fella in MN. started the clone project then Mark got it from him.I was supposed to buy it from mark but got zinged on that deal by Dave Shuten from MI. who did a great job on it. still wish I could have bought the project though but I did get to paint and stripe it! FRITZ
I built the trike myself, I wanted it to look like a Roth piece, so I will take your question as a compliment, Thanks Here is a pic of the foam buck for the body here is a shot of the frame here is a shot of the body in rough glass here is a pic after paint, candy tangerine over a gold flake base And here is a pic of what I started with
Man would love to buy that car at the auction coming up, what do you think it will sell for? Did an awesome job on the paint. The whole car looks like a dead ringer for the orignal.
Man that thing is so so cool!! I have been wanting a Roth type trike for a while now!!! More pics please sir!! Sorry just noticed I type to slow!!
yes I do realize that, but they worked so perfect for it and they are right out front for everyone to see, not hidden under the rear of a 40 ford!
Please tell me you've got shots of you riding the trike! It's GOT to look awesome in motion. If ya don't, and you need some, let me know. I'd love to shoot a few snaps of you piloting that thing!
Hes riding on it at the end of this video. Its cool So how fast have you had it up too? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAPdEoCUc8w
Whoa!!! I didn't realize that the Trendaro had TRI-lined tires front and back. The only other place I have seen those elsewhere is on my Roadster!!! The Zinger looks pretty rad.
I have probably only had it going about 45 mph or so, I havent really gone very far from home on it for a couple of reasons. Its a hard tail and it really takes the bumps hard and the next 1 is really my own fault. I really wanted the look of the seat upholstery going all the way up to the front of the body, this meant I could not run a normal motorcycle fuel tank. I built a 3 gallon tank and mounted it in the rear of the body and it is closer to the radiator than I would like it to be. So for those reasons its an around town cruiser, never been more than 5 miles frome home on it.
