Do you have pics of regular Ford gears and Zepher gears to show the difference?
Reason is I have an old transmission from a 40's era ford with a chromed shifter.
Just wondering if the guy that had it just chromed it for looks or is there something better inside.
Sorry at this time I have no way to post pics myself.
    Thanks for any help.

Cluster gear assembly will have 25 OR 26 teeth on FRONT gear. Correspondingly, input gear will have either 19 or 18 teeth. DD

    Thanks
Does the Ford have 25 and the Zepher 26, or visa versa?

The half moon cut was put there so you could put input gear in transmission with cluster installed.. I use to grind a half moon in the old Ford transmission gear to make it easier to put togather.

'slider lock'? No, a reverse arc in the 'sharp' gear (high, where the slider meshes to)

  9. The second gear will have 24 teeth.

Personally, I prefer the stock, later Ford gears with a 28 or 29 tooth first on the cluster gear. Good for tall rear tires. The LZ gears make first pretty tall with tall tires (30+ inches.).
Shit, that depends on how much power/torque your working with too.
Oh, yeah and what gears yer running in back.
    I'm sure I'm forgetting something else .

I have a LZ set I'll be happy to sell.
