for some reason all of mine are still in progress

    NealinCA's RPU
    Blackroad's 36 phantom Phaeton
    Flyin Flattie's "sweat tea"

RPU and Norwell Marcus Edell get nods too. I'm leaving two blank in case I think of any others.

I can't do it. I could pick 5 "big" GM cars from the early 60s, 5 early pickup trucks, 5 Model A coupes, 5 radical customs, 5...

Hey, I picked two pick-up trucks...:p Had a few more in the final twenty...
As far as big early sixties GM cars, well, a '61 Ventura trumps all the rest anyway, just pick one of those...:)

I cheated, I picked five that one friend built.

  9. Wow, this is really hard, and I've been thinking about this way more than I should.
I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting, but off the top of my head, these are 5 that I can think of right off the bat that I absolutely fell head over heels in love with the second I saw them...

bobbleed's roadster, the fenderwell headers struck my eyes like a sledgehammer, and then I noticed how everything else looks just perfect to me:

Tuki's dad's coupe, because holy shit:

Nads's coupe, because who wouldn't appreciate a whacked, primered, angry-looking thing like this, especially when it's got a Packard V8 in it:

nitrobrother's '40 Chrysler, which I think is just about the perfect custom coupe:

Dakota Boy's squarebird, and I ain't even a Ford guy, it just looked right-on to me, especially with the perfect rear wheelwell treatment:

I'd also put tankwilson's chopped '49 Plymouth on here (if I could do a top 6), as that car almost single-handedly made me want to chop the shit outta my 52 Plymouth:
