My Mom gave me my car, so I will have to name it after her.
"Cochina" just how i like 'em!
My 51 Ford Shoebox has always been ZAPATo, in fact it gave me its name for my nickname.
It's got a small mural of a bikini girl riding a spark plug but I can't quite remember what it says underneath. It was on the car when I got it. I guess that's the car's name
"Raging Piece of Shit"
Of course, I've had names for every one of my cars ever since the '60's...if you didn't have a name on your car back then, you simply weren't a "car guy"...
yep...it came from the factory that way...Dart...
I affectionately refer to my '32 as "Hot Mess".
about 10 years ago, my carby jammed up leaking onto the hot engine causing it to burst into flames in my driveway out the front of my house. called it "burning desire" ever since..
"Chevy, a Black Chevy" , that's my '52's name. Kind of catchy, don't you think?
I have always named my cars. My 54' Customline is Betty..Ford.
Money Pit would fit my build pretty good.
My buddy, Tom gave me my car's name....Shasta.

All my cars have names, the official name and then there are the other names that they aquire depending on the situation.
I keep vasilating on the name for my current. Craklin Rose came to mind at one point. But I think the latest was Mal Aire. That may change also when it is rolling and I get a better fell for my sentiments.
Oh I left out my parts hauler we have been calling it the anti-rod. Sort of a bibical play on words.
I've always wondered why people name their cars. It's not like it will come if you call it so what's the point? Like the old joke," What do you call a dog with no legs?".
Affection...??? Or lack of...???
Legless..??? Rolly...??? Skipper...???
guess nobody is building anything... we got 2 car name threads going on here at once.
The '51 will have a name, but I haven't had her long enough to settle on one yet. Got a couple prospects, but nothing has jumped out in front as of yet.
Seemed to have called them all, f**k'n POS at one time or another.....
Yep, either they have a name when I buy them or they get named , ( Approperately ):
The 78 Ford stepside was named Agnes . The 53 Ford panel Delivery is named Mabellene .
All of my rides have names except the current project I am working on. I have just about settled on the name Alimony.
Thats what the purchase of him almost got me into.............
My wife and kids name my vehicles, most times they help name themselves.
1949 F-2, kids named it "Ooga Truck" when they were little because I has a ooga horn.
1948 F-1 panel, named Hixton because I got the my original panel out of Hixton, WI. I got rid of the original truck before finishing and bought this more complete truck and the name with just transferred over.
1951 F-4 flatbed, named itself. My wife wanted to name it and as we were looking at the front we noticed a extremely faint "ROGER" painted on the panel above the grill.
1937 Buick, my wife named it Daisy, after the movie Driving Miss Daisy. It reminds my wife of the big cars driven in the movie.
Whenever I'm working on one I find alternative names to call them, most aren't proper in mixed company.
Mines name is "the Blind spot" appropriate due to it being so small, 37in tall now.
My '62 Le Sabre goes by "Lucia".
The Impala in the avatar has been refered to as "The Pacific Princess", "the Street Barge" and "the Boat" among others. Since it's white I've been called "Toad" on more than one occasion.
