It lived here in Idaho Falls for a while. Guy named Hairball had it, think he traded it for a '36 Ford 5 window. It was getting some miles on it by then, trans was ready ... has a funny front axle somebody "dropped" with a huge hammer.

  11. WOW! I'm gonna spend some time and see if I can find the cover of the first magazine I ever bought in the mid 60s that got me hooked.

This was a regional weekly magazine/newspaper covering the Northeast and Canada. It was published in Cranston, RI, by Joe Vanni. First issue is April 17, 1966. As far as I know it was only published the one year. img300.jpg

    I just added Auto Age ('53 - '56), Super Stock & F/X ('65-'70) and Super Stock & Funny Cars ('70-'72)

    Up next: Motor Life (post Hop-Up, '54 - '61), Auto Sport Review ('52 - '53) and Auto Speed & Sport ('52-'53).

I'm still looking for Hot Rod Parts Illustrated and Drag Parts Illustrated issues.

    Enjoy!!

Great site! Thank you so much for all the hard work putting it together. My personal favorite is the Jan.63 issue of How to Hop-Up Your Engine. The roadster on the cover was built by my late brother Bob. That's the car that got me hooked on hotrods when I was a kid.

Next up: Super Stock & Drag Illustrated. But I need the following cover images to complete my coverage from '64 to '75 (note that the magazine continued thru May '99). I'm missing:
    1. Oct '66

    4. July '70
    Any help would be appreciated!
    PM me your images please.
