Just got this one a few days ago. 1947 Pontiac coupe. It's in pretty good condition, no motor or tranny. But I just happen to have the old SBC that I can stuff in there to get it moving. This one is the 2nd 47 Poncho I am doing this year, The first one sold fast and is making the new owner very happy.
I may just have to keep this one for myself, MAYBE BUILD A GASSER !!!!

The body looks like it's real solid. Cool. Lippy.

dDid some work on this Poncho, Stuffed a 71 350 in it with a lang tail shaft turbo 350. (ya I know another 350-350) but they are cheap, and after all aint that what it is all about. Also did a little metal patch on the front fender and trunk lid. That's all it had for the metal patch. Body is really solid. Just a little hammer and dolly, and it is ready for primer.

That's TWO barn finds that aren't Fords. Where are the Fords, outside?

Say, what kind of mounts are those? Very clever!

The motor mounts are the 1947 Pontiac rear motor mounts, I just had to drill 1 hole in them to bolt them to the motor, (and build a cross member for the engine and the tranny) .
