Extremely well thought out list,but we both know people don't do searches that's exactly why we keep seeing the same things again and again and again.......... HRP

 

The list isnt really thought out, items are just added after a handfull of Deletes on the Main Board.

So every one of them has "earned" its place on it...

And yes you are right, people dont seem to do Searches.

It's likely that half the people have no idea about doing searches.They have no interest in website workings,the internet is an alien place where your identity can be stolen ,they just want to post a "cool" email forwarded to them.
It'll never change no matter what you do.

 

For what it's worth, I've noticed that a search using the board's search feature only goes back so far, so if one of these things escapes a repost for like 12 months, it won't come up. Yet if I search on say Google, I can find stuff three, five, ten years old, which is where a lot of super old threads get bumped back up to the top. Some boards have a deal where a thread auto-locks after so long; maybe that should be done here (perhaps exempt tech threads?).

 

Maybe there should be no forums so reposts repeat questions and such won't happen! What about the newbies that have never seen them and post them, And ask repeat questions. They are just finding thier way around and are enjoying this site? Just sayin guys.....Give these guys some slack. If you don't like seein them don't look!
