That's what I thought, thanks. I bought some 16" Lyons recently but didn't read the whole ad and can't use them as they're for 16" Kelsey Hayes. Someday I'll learn!

Thanks, been following your build, excellent job, beautiful car! Yes they are lyons, couldn't run them on the back due to the skirts, but found the original ford "beauty" rings have about the same shape as the lyons, just without the centers. Rear is baged and normal driving only the edges of the rings show.
    Thanks for the comments!

She was driven for the first time last week, bout 6 miles, but all seemed to work good, still have to finish the stainless around the windows, then she's done! Driving her to Straykat 500 on friday the 3rd, bout 110 miles form my house, should be a good shake down cruise!Chris and the guys (and girls) at Chactic customs did a great job on the car, Hub Harness's chop, Fast Al's interior, tony's glass and many more have been involved in this build!Damn its been fun!

It has been fun with so many great people involved, began with me buying the car minus engine and tranny about 20 years ago, buying my 50 at the round up 8 years ago, selling the 51, buying it back about 2 months later. Taking her to Hub Harness for the chop about 2 years ago, started the frame off in july 2011. Did the chassis then off to Chaotic Customs for body work and paint, Aaron Lawrence ,Fast Al's upholstery in Dewey Oklahoma, Tony at Bairs glass in Winfield ks. for glass, back to Chris at Chaotic Customs to finish up. Been a hell of a ride!

Wow! What a stunner Jack! I should have known that was a Hub chop. He does such a great job! And obviously you had a great crew of folk that know what's what. Beautiful! Of course it's been your vision all along also.

Very nice build! The car looks great. Would you happen to have a picture of the front with the hood shut? I'm diggin the way you mounted the grill.

Thanks, will try and get ya one. we cut the grill down to "french" it, then replaced the centers of the stock bullets with regular chrome bullets.

  22. Lookin good Jack. I will get to see it in Dewey in a couple of weeks.
    Later,

I guess we just gotta wear different hats, depending on what we drive, and it is self-inflicted! ( with help from others)

  30. Looks awesome Jack. Can't wait to see it next week. I have seen pics here and there of it, but somehow never saw the build thread until now. Fantastic job!
