If John had a minor problem or he or one of the team would have on here to tell us either that or he did qualify and the work to do in the limited time in impounds is way more important than us. I’m sure he will inform when he gets time.

 

Facebook says 113 mph on the first pass. Back tomorrow.

That is correct. Successful shake down run today to test the changes made. Only enough time for one run. Feeling good and back at it tomorrow.

 

T-minus 24 hours and counting. Commencing pre-launch sequence.

Shakedown pass was ok found a few things that need adjustments ran a conservative tune up ran 113 and change. Way over geared

Just want to say that I won't give up on this challenge. Not a good speed so far but the week is early. We have just begun, one step at a time

Well said John, Bonneville is not for the average race or car guy for that matter. Many cannot stand the wait of just a a few times a year or once.
I heard yesterday on the live stream in the mid afternoon the density altitude was 7000 plus and this morning at 8:00 is was a little over 6000. Tough to tune. Once again may good luck go with you and your guys...

Today's report.
Chasing salt gremlins today shift linkage issues but got it fixed and are ready for Monday.
If it were easy every body would be doing it. There are no failures if we learn from it, just part of the journey.. never give up

 

Stick with it, we have faith you will get it sorted out.

 

Did you put a shorter R&P in also? Good luck tomorrow!

3.50 R&P and shorter tire.
Don't want to change to much at one time but still looking for a better combo
If this improves then I'll start searching for more power

 

Was at Speed week 2020 ! Hooked up with xo/pp640 in the pits and run up lane. These guys are where very friendly! I asked question the took the time to answer all of them. Ford pick up people are a breed of our own, I enjoyed every minute and thank you Russ And John for chatting with me.

3:50.1 R&P not sure on the tire roll out, the transmission 200r4 four speed with option direct or OD adjust to you’re power band only so much time to get in the time eye!
Have the push truck push him at this point this week! As fast as possible.
