Hello people, here comes Freddie Sanders, a original from the "Class of '57". I served hitch in the U.S. Air Force, at Griffiss AFB, Rome, NY. Then returned home to Ft. Worth, Tex. "It was party time". Placed a "ring" on the boss's (Donna) finger in '63 (sure put a slow down on the "hell rasin'). We have 4 children, and 10 grand children (love them much more than "any old pile of rusted tin and iron").
Hell yes! I have the "afflication", it all started in 1955 with a 1942 Chrysler New Yorker convertible, and haven't had a "sane" day since. Oh how I hate accumulating old and unusual "junk".
I guess I"m the same as most Hambers, sharing the love for the smell of "oil fumes" (if you're old enuff), the smell of "burning rubber", and slapping gears on a 4 speed.
I hope I can make it to the Denison meet, and get the chance to meet some of you "Hambers"

  2. Welcome to the HAMB. Rome isn't too far from my house!

I hope some of that old and unusual junk you've collected includes an early Hemi. [IMG]

I'm right down the road, I live in Grapevine. Heck, I work in Ft Worth, at N 820 and Beach St.

thank you for the welcome Rashy. If it was not for this "Texas Hamber", no one would think of you as a "cooool dude". And what are "Them" ? Something I slap away from me, while in the woods?
