worked on the flathead

    Got the PCV System and the Fuel line/ fuel pump mounted. Thing sure go slow when it is 120 deg. in the shop @ 9AM.

    Is there a reason that you are not using the crankcase vent port to operate the PCV system? [​IMG]

    I'm not sure that's going to work right. Where is the air breather? Pulling manifold vacuum straight off of the intake valley at the pump stand may pull lots of oil out of the valley. Then the second hose goes from ported vaccum at the air cleaner and on to the oil fill pipe? Seems like no way to get fresh air in.

    The tube to the air cleaner should be OK so long as it is not in a high vac. area of the air cleaner. But the PCV tube to the fuel pump boss is only evacuating the oil valley of the fumes that will minimally migrate thru the six half inch holes from the crankcase into the oil valley.:) :D
