Chris Henry at Top Gear Tattoo in Sheboygan. A friend of mine owns the shop and Chris has been working on a sleeve for me for the last couple of months...the guy's stuff is SICK, multiple award winner at major shows all around the country. Hell of a nice guy, too. Any HAMBER would like the shop, too. All the guys are gearheads and the shop has a 50's hotrod theme. The phone # for the shop is 920-457-4327 tell 'em Christian sent ya...
For pure artistic talent and vision, Jon is absolutely awesome. He did a sacred heart on my chest a while back and it rules!! If you like the Japanese stuff, Jon's your guy, too...
I was considering Hazelton for a piece, but he seems too busy to want to spend any time on my project. I will look into some of these other places, thanks much guys!
There is a Tattoo shop in Janesville Wisconsin. I feel stupid not remembering his name, but he was a major award winner. Some of the best work I had ever seen. Awesome portraits, search for Janesville Wisconsin Tattoo shops.
Ok, I found it, http://www.diamondted.com/ Check it out. I heard way back when, that he was not cheap.
Jon Ryder at Solid State in Bay View... an artist first tatto artist second, I havent seen any other tattos around to compare to his.
SOLID STATE TATTOO!!!! No questions asked, Jon Ryder (the original Johnny Jean Jacket I might add) rules the scene, he tatooed my grandmas face on Cheater Chris's back, not really, but he could, and it would be the best because he is the best. You will go there and you will let him tattoo you imediately! Seriously, the guy is 2nd to none and the shop is very cool. Good vibe. Give him a call or visit...oh yeah, what ever you do, don't hug him. 414-744-0778 2660 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Milwaukee, WI www.solidstatemilwaukee.com
