Impressive work as always, Kev. That would be tough for me to sell.

  3. Thanks for the comments guys. I have had a few people ask how much will I be selling it for. I want this to be a build thread and not a huge classified ad but I will say I plan on working on it until it is worth as least 15K. I have a lot of work yet to get the cab welded up and some body work done, floor, firewall etc. Then I will build a short bed for it. I have some fenderwell headers to adapt to the BBC. If I decide to make it a running, driving, registered truck I will be asking 20K or more. Anyway this is where I am at. I have A LOT of hours in it already and A LOT more to go, it's fun though.

All your projects seem to look great.I like that you don't over build them.It really has that 60s look. You have a great eye for this stuff.Another fine build, keep it up.Thanks for sharing...

  15. Thanks Steve. I really believe in keeping things basic.

I plan on building the bed from steel. Probably 18g with bead rolled (stepped out) sides something similar to this one I did a long time ago but a little longer.
For this truck the bed will be more complete with tailgate etc.

Now I like these kind of builds.. making use of what you can find.. very nice work.will be watching this one.

  19. truckjunky24....the scoop is from Speedway Motors. I think it is called a Shelby, they have 2 sizes. This is the bigger one. It cost about $75.

Some of you guys like looking at my back yard so I will add a couple of pics of the new facade on my garage. Pics of it going together over on Garage Journal. Search for Kiwi Kev.

Thats looking really good Kev. The back of the cab is real neat. Have you seen Jim Sibley's thread on his Willys coupe?
